Why we started
Great homemade food already exists in every neighbourhood — dal on a weekday, a careful Sunday biryani, a tiffin that tastes like home. What was missing was a simple way for nearby people to find it, and for home chefs to sell seats without becoming a restaurant.
Kicibo is that bridge. Customers discover independent home chefs nearby, order today’s meal or order for tomorrow’s batch, and pay the chef directly. Home chefs cook from home, publish seats, and grow regulars in their own locality. Chefs manage cooking; Kicibo manages the platform.
