Healthy home-cooked meals without the restaurant polish

Healthy eating often means simpler food: dal, sabzi, roti, rice — cooked fresh in a home kitchen.

“Healthy” on food apps often means a marketing badge. At home, healthy usually means familiar ingredients, controlled oil, and a plate you recognise.

Home-cooked meals from neighbourhood chefs tend to look like real lunches: balanced thalis, lighter sabzis, millet rotis, or a careful non-veg batch cooked for a limited number of seats.

Because chefs cook in batches, freshness is tied to a service date — today’s meal or tomorrow’s cook — not an always-on menu sitting under heat lamps.

If you have allergies or strict preferences, message clearly in the order notes and confirm with the chef after acceptance.
