FAQ
Straight answers for home chefs considering Kicibo.
What rules apply if I cook from home?
Home chefs remain responsible for the food they prepare, kitchen hygiene, and following rules that apply where they cook. Kicibo is a technology marketplace and does not replace those responsibilities.
When do I get paid?
Customers pay you directly — Cash on fulfilment or UPI as you arrange in the app. The platform does not collect or hold payment in V1.
What is a meal batch?
A meal batch is a cook run for a service date with a limited number of seats. When seats fill or you close orders, that batch stops accepting new orders.
What is ready stock?
Ready stock is for lasting items — like pickles or sweets — that you can list with a stock count and refill anytime, without a batch cut-off.
Can customers cancel after I accept?
Customers can cancel only while an order is still pending. After you accept, the order stays with you to fulfil.
